Bright Owls Language School, would like to announce the forthcoming event hosted by “El Rincon Español”, a Shropshire Spanish Circle which has been running in Shrewsbury for over 10 years. Their next event will be a wine tasting evening which will take place on Friday 11th May at 7.00 pm at Shrewsbury School.

Philip Rowles, a wine specialist with an extensive knowledge of both Spain and its wines, will be bringing along a selection of Spanish wines for Summer drinking. The talk will be in Spanish, and after the tasting there will be a selection of tapas to round off the evening.

Marisa Fernández, languages tutor at Bright Owls said: ‘This is a great opportunity for all of those learning Spanish to come along and practice their listening and speaking skills plus a chance to meet new people who share the love for Spanish wines, language and culture’.

Tickets are £10 and prior booking is essential.
